I went to the Haunted Mansion Holiday special event last year, but I don’t think I’ll be going again this year. Today Disneyland announced this year’s event, and unlike last year, there are now four separate packages available: J, A, C, and K.

I’ve been priced out of all but the “K” package, and K appears to be the exact same show that I went to last year. Oh well. Maybe once Tammy and I get married and drop a down payment on a house I’ll consider going to stuff like this again. 🙁

One thing I’m glad to see is that they’ve done away with the phone registration process. Now registrations will only be taken via email, fax, or US mail. No more waking up at 6 in the morning and redialing for two hours just to be told that the event had sold out. That’ll be nice for future events too.

If you didn’t go last year, I’d say that the K package is definitely worth $69, especially if you’re a big fan of Tim Burton or the Nightmare Before Christmas.
