The other day on All Things Considered, they were discussing how the mass of affordable housing is quickly moving east out of Los Angeles and into the Inland Empire. A map of the Inland Empire reveals that it “officially” starts around Ontario and extends quite a ways east into Banning and Idyllwild. That is far, folks.

During the show I learned of people called “supercommuters.” These are people that drive at least 150 miles EVERY DAY to get to and from work.
And here I am complaining about my shitty little 66 mile a day drive. I shouldn’t say anything about my drive anymore – now I see I’m living the good life!
