Last Halloween when I collected demographic information on my trick or treaters it seemed like a pretty funny thing to do. This year the novelty kind of wore off and as I spent the evening sober I began to question how much fun or entertaining this whole process really was. I probably won’t do it again next year.
I had 66 trick-or-treaters this year, down from 78 last year. They stopped coming around about an hour earlier too. We got our last doorbell ring at 8:30 last night.
All that made for about six pounds of leftover candy, nearly all of which has been entirely devoured by my coworkers this morning.
